Important hints:
- Please make sure that the ethernet cable of the scale is connected to the white USB-to-Ethernet adapter on the PC (label TP-Link). Do NOT connect the scale to the network switch labeled with "Edimax"
- You can enter the configuration mode by pressing F2 on the terminal while the scale is booting (use the power button in case you want to reboot the terminal)
- All menu steps above starting with "8" can be found in the submenu named "EthEr" on the terminal display
- All menu steps starting with "7" can be found tin the submenu named "PC_Ed_P" on the terminal display
- Use the button "+" to edit a setting and the left/right arrow keys to navigate to the digit you want to modify and up/down arrow keys to change the value of a digit.
- Once all configuraton is done, it must be saved by pressing the standby button shortly.
Now the scale including the iS20 isready for use with the MetriXFreight system!
General notes and settings:
Intended use
– This device must not be used outdoors.
– The device must be used for industrial or commercial applications only.
– No unauthorized constructional modifications must be applied to the device.
– The device may only be used for verifiable transactions if the software is operating correctly and is in a secure state. The software IDs must be correctly displayed and checked by the operator daily. The internal control mark must not be damaged.
If you reset or program devices, check the new setting by means of a test
run and a test printout. This helps to avoid incorrect results.
Switch device on / off / reset
Plug the device into the power source. The scale receives its power through the network connection.
Briefly press 'power' key (4): Save data and restart.
Press and hold 'power' key (4) for more than 3 s: Stand-by mode / switch off
Function assignment of key F1
F1 is a configurabel function key.
Functions of menu key F2
In order to select a function under F2 proceed as follows:
Zero setting the scale
Requirement: The scale is in no-motion condition and within the zero setting range of ±2% of the maximum weighing range.
Net weighing with tare balance
Deleting tare
Error messages
