Technical information on the test interface

Would you like to try out the system in advance?

No problem, a publicly accessible test REST data export is available to you. The test data export largely reproduces the behavior of the real system. Nevertheless, there may be  individual restrictions or special features, which are described in more detail below.

Directly to the test data export

Important to-do: To be able to test a GET request directly in Swagger, you must remove the request body {}.

Possible responses of the test interface:

✅ POST | 200 OK

If MetriX responds to the test interface with 200 OK, the identifier has been successfully accepted and the system is in a state in which a measurement is possible.

Please note: This function can be tested, but is only of limited use in the test environment provided, as no actual measurement takes place.

✅ GET | 200 OK

The test interface delivers the response body as described in the article Measurements via the MetriX REST interface.

Please note: The dimensions, weight and image data in the test environment are generated randomly. The values change with each request and therefore do not necessarily match.

In addition, the number and resolution of the images provided may differ from those of the final booked system.

❌ POST/GET | 400 Bad Request

If the identifier is not accepted or the system is in a status that does not allow measurements, you will receive the response described in the article Measurements via the MetriX REST interface. To simulate the errors described, the interface reacts to special identifiers::

❌ GET | 404 Not Found

As for the other errors mentioned above, there is also a special identifier for this: https://metrix-api.metrilus.de/measurement/timeout
