🕶️ No direct sunlight
Direct exposure to intense sunlight can impact the accuracy of the measurement.
Place the s-series system somewhere with stable lighting conditions and even incidence of light.
🔎 Distance from reflective surfaces
Reflective surfaces, e.g. mirrors or reflective vests, can also create disturbinances. Ensure that there is a sufficient distance (2 meters) between the s-series system and any large mirrors.
Personnel wearing reflective vests should take a step back during measurements.
➖ Place on a flat surface
If the system is tilted to one side, the scale is working inaccurately. To get precise weight measurements, verify that the location where the system is positioned is flat and level.
🚚 Protected from forklift hazards
Either put up protecting barriers or place the s-system outside of the designated vehicle area
🔌 Proximity to a power outlet
A power connection is required for use, and a connection to the network for the Internet is usually also needed.
If applicable: 📶 Location with LTE reception
If you have the LTE add-on, it is important to establish a secure connection. Find a spot with good reception to place the system there.
🌡️ Temperature and humidity within operation conditions
Please refer to the technical data sheet for the specific operating conditions of each system. As a general guideline, the s-series should not be used in rooms with a temperature below 0 °C.
🔄 Distance between two S140 systems
If you want to use two S140 systems you can not place the two of them directly next to each other as the cameras interfere with each other. There needs to be a distance of one meter in between.
The S110 uses different cameras and is not affected by this rule.
