You place the object to be measured under the MetriXFreight system. MetriXFreight measures and displays a QR code in addition to the measurement data. This QR code contains the defined values such as length, width, height, weight, ... are encoded in this QR code.
You first scan the ID of the package number with your barcode scanner and then the QR code. The input fields in your screen are immediately filled with the measurement data. Please make sure that the scanner is connected to your system (WMS, TMS, ERP, ...) and your input screen so that the data transmission and assignment can function correctly.
Information on how it works
We configure the QR code so that it matches your input screen. After the measurement, all important and necessary defined fields are encoded in the QR code and displayed on the screen.
The data is transmitted as text. Possible text contents are
- Measurement data
- Optional: ID or similar
- Optional: additional user entries or fields (in the master data edition)
Unfortunately, it is not possible to transmit images.
