The MetriXFreight ceiling version gets 2 long extensions for the cameras.
How to attach the extension to the ceiling system
First you have to attach the "x"-shaped truss to the bottom of the ceiling system.
To simplify the attachment process, we have color-coded the clamps on the "x"-shaped truss with small dots. Corresponding color markers are also present on the ceiling system. During installation, ensure that each clamp aligns with its matching color on the ceiling: connect the green clamp to the green marking, the purple clamp to the purple marking, and so forth.
Close the clamps and tighten the screws.
Next, take the two 150 cm long truss parts and securely attach them to the "x"-shaped truss. You have the flexibility to choose whether to position the attachments on the left or right side of the ceiling system. However, it is essential that both attachments are made on the same side to form a "V" shape when viewed from above.
To attach the long truss, first retrieve one of the metal cones included in the box. Insert the cone into the end of the truss, ensuring that the holes are aligned properly to the holes of the truss.
Put a pin through the hole. Secure it with a hammer.
For added stability, be sure to securely fasten the pins with the provided safety clip.
Next, attach an additional 150 cm truss to the existing ones, creating a total length of 3 meters for each antenna. Following this, connect the 90° angle truss, ensuring it is oriented to point downward, extending toward the floor.
Finally, secure the 50 cm truss part to the vertical end of the 90° angle truss.
At the end of the 50 cm truss, securely attach one of the NSP cameras, which comes with a pre-installed clamp for your convenience.
Connect the cameras using the supplied cables. Simply plug each cable into any available port on the switch located on the ceiling system; the specific port used is not important.
The NSP Add-on is now successfully attached and fully prepared for use. You can now proceed to lift the ceiling system into place for the final installation.
